Slow down week 08 | Print |

It was with a limp wave of the hand from the divan that we appealed to you to ease up a little during Slow Down Week. If you are new to slowing down, then read our special  slow beginner's guide, and slow manifesto.

Relax-o-Meter V6
We heartily thank Dr. Emile Lenteur of the International Institute of Not Doing Much (IINDM) for his groundbreaking discovery of relaxon particles.

You may know, relaxon particles are secreted by slow people that make them, more likable, better-looking, and contented. It took days of staring out of the window and drinking tea before he came up with the idea for the experimental evidence. It all goes to show that slowing down works.

Take your time and read some reactions to Slow Down Week from Major (Blast-it-to-Smithereens) Smythe-Blunder, Lady Fiona Moore (whom we would also like to sycophantically thank), and others.

Thank you to adbusters.org for their witty animation and bringing Slow Down Week to the attention of those that most need to know about it.

SLOW NEWS: We have discovered the rule book of the anti-slow movement.  Warning: Do not read if you have refined and delicate sensibilities.
